Street ChurchRandy and Cheryl Barnetson are the pastors of this church, located on the toughest block of the Downtown Eastside. What used to be a beer parlour is now a place of worship. Open 24 hours, The Street Church reaches out to the homeless, drug addicts, prostitutes, and residences of this community with three church services a day, a meal, Bible studies, Bible school and a variety of outreach programs. The Street Church welcomes cash donations to keep their ministry going, as well as food and clothing donations. There’s also a need for volunteers to serve food, clean the church, teach at the Bible school, and preach or lead music worship in the services. |
